GSSSIETW, mysuru is happy to inform you that, 2019 International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Computer, and Optimization Techniques (ICEECCOT) has been posted to the IEEE Xplore digital library effective 2020-06-12.
GSSSIETW, Mysuru is an initiative and outcome of Late Prof. B S Pandit, retired as Physics Professor from SJCE, Mysuru with a vision to provide quality technical education to girls. The institution was established in the year 2003 reflecting the ideals of its founder and seeks to achieve excellence as an academic institution with advanced research. Four Engineering branches ECE, CSE, ISE and TE are accredited for three years by NBA, New Delhi, (Validity: 01-07-2017 to 30-06-2020 & 01-07-2020 - 30.06.2023). The institute offers 6 B.E Programs, Two M.Tech Programs and MBA all affiliated to VTU, Belagavi. The institution has professional forums like IEEE, IETE, ISTE, ISOI and CSI .The college also offers Ph.D., programs in E&C, CS&E, E&IE, Maths, Chemistry and MBA Departments. ICEECCOT conference series is regarded as one of the premier events in its kind worldwide. Every edition of ICEECCOT series receives Quality research papers/proposals from the scientific, research and academic communities from different parts of the world. ICEECCOT 2019 will be held at Mysuru, India, the cultural capital of the Karnataka state, (has many educational, commercial, administrative centers and heritage monuments) and is well connected by road, rail and air.
The ICEECCOT 2019 offers a platform for researchers and Engineers from different backgrounds to present and discuss their latest research ideas, results, potential applications and possible road ahead broadly in the areas of Electronics, Communication, Electrical Engineering and interdisciplinary areas of Control Engineering, Robotics, Internet, Network Security and Cloud Technologies and others. Dr. B. K. Murthy is currently working as Senior Director (Scientist G) and Group Coordinator (R&D in IT) in the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), Government of India. He is responsible for promotion of R&D in the area of IT; implementation of the Viswesvaraya PhD Fellowship scheme; Information Technology Research Academy; Digital India Corporation and National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology.
During July 2012 to Feb 2016 he was holding the charge of Executive Director, C-DAC, Noida Centre, on deputation from DeitY. As the Head of the Noida Centre of C-DAC, he was responsible for policy formulation, planning, implementation and deployment of various R&D Projects.
He was awarded Ph.D. degree by IIT Delhi. He is instrumental in the initiation of e-learning activities and contributed for the incorporation of Media Lab Asia. He also served as Executive Director, National Institute of Electronics and IT, (NIELIT erstwhile DOEACC). He was a member of Technical Committee & Project Approval Board of National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT), MHRD; He is currently member of Board of Governs Indira Gandhi Technological University for Women, Delhi, IIITs at Allahabad, Gwalior, Tirupati, Kanchipuram. He also served as Guest faculty at IIT Roorkee, IIIT Gwalior, IP Univ. etc.
Dr. Murthy served in the MeitY at various capacities dealing with Technology Development for Indian Language, e-Learning initiatives in the Country. He was heading the Software Industry Promotion during 2005-2007. He has conceived Technology Innovation and Development Entrepreneurship Development, National Knowledge Network, Information Security Education and Awareness Phase II, ICT Academy, Viswesvaraya PhD Fellowship and Young Faculty Fellowship programmes.
Dr. Murthy’s research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Engineering, Object Oriented Design and Software Defined Networking. He has published and presented more than 50 papers in various journals and conferences.
Under his able guidance, there has been unprecedented achievements of C-DAC, Noida (both in terms of receipt of projects and awards). He had executed projects with a total outlay of approximately Rs. 150 Crores in the areas of Health Informatics, E-governance, Smart Cards, Language Technology and e-learning. About 30 awards have been received interalia Manthan Award 2012, Rajasthan State e-governance award 2012; Skoch Order of Merit (2013); CSI Nihilent e-Governance in 2013; (vi) Indian Merchants' Chamber Award 2013; e-north East Award for 2015.
E -SafeT Device, developed by C-DAC, Noida has been adjudged as Most Innovative Security Product of the Year 2013 which also fetched the 5th eGovSecureIT 2014 Award, (vii) Reengineering India Award, 2014; Skoch Award of Excellence (2014); Tamper Evident Recorder project has been awarded as the most Innovative Technology of the year 2015. The Virtual Class Room project for conducting Medical Education classes at RIMS Imphal and NEIGHRIMS Shillong has been awarded as Best Projects of North East.
Dr. Sudhakar Rao, Technical Fellow, Research Technology & Engineering Division, Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, USA.
Dr. Sudhakar Rao is working as a Technical Fellow at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, Redondo Beach, CA, USA since 2010 where is working on advanced satellites, aircrafts and ground antennas for various military and civilian applications. He received Ph. D in electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 1980. Dr. Rao worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Trondheim, Norway and then as a research associate at University of Manitoba, Canada during 1981-1983. Over the past 36 years starting from 1983, he worked at Spar Aerospace Limited (now MDA), Boeing Satellite Systems, Lockheed Martin and now at Northrop Grumman and contributed to antenna & payloads for more than 80 different satellites. His work on development of radiation templates for complex radiation patterns of satellite antennas for interference analysis was adopted and recommended by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)/CCIR in 1992 as the world-wide standard for satellite manufacturers and operators. He authored over 200 technical papers and was awarded with 48 U.S patents and three trade secrets. He authored and co-edited three text book volumes on “Handbook of Reflector Antennas and Feed Systems” that were published in June 2013 by the Artech House.
Dr. Rao is an IEEE Life Fellow and a Fellow of IETE. He received several awards and recognitions that include IEEE Benjamin Franklin Key Award in 2006, Special Invention Award from Boeing in 2002 for a series of patents related to reconfigurable satellites, Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year in 2008, Asian American Engineer of the year award in 2008, IEEE Judith Resnik Technical Field Award in 2009 for pioneering work in aerospace engineering, IETE’s S.N. Mitra award in 2016, NIT Warangal’s Distinguished Alumni of the year award in 2016, IEEE Region 6 Outstanding Engineer Award for 2017 and the 2017 Northrop Grumman’s President Award for innovations. Dr. Rao served as the Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE APS during 2015-2017 and delivered lectures, keynote talks and invited talks all over the world. He served as the AdCom member for IEEE APS during 2011-2013. He was the Chair for the IEEE APS “Industry Initiatives Committee” during 2011-2015, IEEE APS Fellow Evaluation Committee member during 2015-2017, Associate Editor for the IEEE Antennas & Propagation Magazine’s “Antenna Applications Corner”, Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Antennas & Propagation, and Associate Editor of IEEE AWPL. He is the Executive Committee Member and IEEE APS Liaison for the InCAP series of conferences that started as annual events in India from 2018 and is currently being held in Ahmedabad during Dec 19-22, 2019. Dr. Rao is the guest editor for the special issue on “Satellite Antennas: Recent Advances” published in October 2019 issue of IEEE AP Magazine.
Prof. G G Senaratne, Dean, Graduate Institute of Science and Management (GISM), Sri Lanka
Professor G. G. Senaratne is presently with the Graduate Institute of Science and Management (GISM) Sri Lanka. He is the founder president of GISM and also the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Professor Senaratne has more than 38 years experience in both industry and academia. Before joining to GISM, he served as a Professor of Electronics Engineering in the School of Engineering and Technology at Sharda University in India and, as a visiting professor in the same University. In his academic career, since 2001, he served as academic faculty at Massey University, New Zealand where he received his PhD in Technology, a multi-disciplinary project on Microwave Signal Processing for Foreign Object Identification. His publications and research interests are on Microwave Inverse scattering for breast cancer detection, object detection and quality measurement in general. In his industrial career, he worked in New Zealand Microwave Industry as a senior research engineer. He is a recipient of New Zealand Industry Fellowship in 2004.
Professor Senaratne obtained his MSc degree in Mobile, Personal and Satellite Communication from Westminster University, UK in 1994 and then joined back to Telecommunication Industry where he worked over five years as the section head of Radio and Transmission Training Centre and Telecom repair centre, Sri Lanka.
After completing his studies in Moratuwa University, Sri Lanka, in 1976 he started working in telecommunication industry and gained training and experience in the field of radio and transmission engineering for about twenty years. He has served in Bell Canada, Saudi Telecom, Emirates Telecom and Sri Lanka Telecom. His long list of industry visits include IIT in India, Bosch in German, Tadiran Telecom in Israel, DMC in India, Emirates in Dubai and RF-TEL in Canada and TTC in India. He also has gained professional qualifications from the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka and the Institute of Engineering and Technology, UK in the field of Electronics and Communications. He is a Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, UK and the Institute of Incorporate Engineers, Sri Lanka.
Dr. Silvia Liberata Ullo, IEEE Senior Member. Associated to the following IEEE societies: WIE (Women In Engineering), Communication Society , Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society, Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society, Signal Processing Society.
Dr. Silvia graduated in Electronic Engineering, specialization in Telecommunications, in 1989 at Federico II University, Naples, at the age of 24 years. She won the “Marisa Bellisario” prize by the homonymous foundation, in March 1990, as “Best graduate young woman for the South of Italy”.
She was awarded in 1990 with an Italtel scholarship, conceived in memory of Dr. Marisa Bellisario, CEO of Italtel, issued once a year just to women engineers. Thanks to this scholarship she accomplished first a Microeconomics Summer Program at Harvard University, June-August 1990, and later a Master of Science in Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, Massachusetts-USA, where she graduated in June 1992 with final grade of 4.6/5.0
Since September 1992 she worked with Italtel s.p.a. for about 8 years as Research Engineer and Production Manager. In Italtel she carried out the production transfer from the Italtel plant in L'Aquila to that of Santa Maria Capua Vetere (Caserta), and she was the chief engineer of production lines, managing about a hundred people among female workers and male technicians.
She was appointed by the Benevento’s Mayor member of the Board of Directors for the Municipal Transport Society (AMTU) for 3 years (1994-1997). Public competition winner, since January 2000 she worked in the Benevento Municipality, as Officer at the Data Elaboration Center (CED). Since 2004 she works as a researcher in the Engineering Department at the University of Sannio, Benevento (Italy), with interests in probability theory, signal and data analysis, with special focus on satellite data for Earth Observation; in communication networks with particular reference to the sensors networks and smart grids; in radar detection with non-Gaussian environment; in non-Gaussian models for the backscatter signal from natural surfaces. She has been promoter of the agreements between the University of Sannio and the MAPSAT (a satellite remote sensing center for Earth Observation (EO) located in Benevento, http://www.mapsat.it/), the CSEO (Cyprus Space Exploration Organisation, https://www.spaceexploration.org.cy/#!/Home), the Italian Atlantic Committee e ATA (Atlantic Treaty Association, http://www.atahq.org/), both related to NATO, the ESA (European Space Agency, https://www.esa.int/ESA), the MIT MISTI-Italy (https://misti.mit.edu/mit-italy), to work on research projects of joint interest.
Co-organizer of many national and international conferences as the MetroAeroSpace Workshop, since 2014, and the first Workshop on Networks and Cyber Security, in Benevento, 2017. She has organized several conference special sessions as, recently, “Wireless Sensor Networks and Remote Sensing for Environmental Applications” within the first IEEE International Environmental Engineering Conference held in Milan, March 2018. Committee Member for the organization of the MIT Sloan Global Women’s Conference, held in New York, October 4-5, 2017, and for the MIT Sloan Global Women’s Conference held in New York, October 2-3, 2019. WIE (Women in Engineering) Activity Chair for the IEEE International Radar Conference that will be held in Florence, September 21-25, 2020.
She has been serving as Associate Editor for a Special Issue of the IEEE AESS Magazine (doi. No. 10.1109/MAES.2019.2905946). She attended the IGARSS Conference in Yokohama, July 28-August 2, 2019, and chaired the session TU4.R12 on “Signal Estimation Techniques I”. Conference Treasurer of the IEEE GNSSR+ 2019 Specialist Meeting on Reflectometry using GNSS and other Signals of Opportunity, held in Benevento (Italy), May 20-22, 2019.

Active in many women's associations (Inner Wheel, FIDAPA) and other international technical and non technical associations (IEEE; AFCEA - Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association; Dante Alighieri; Club per l’UNESCO di Benevento), she was a Red Cross volunteer from 1993 to 2018.

Dr. Wanyang Dai received his Ph.D. from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. He was an MTS and principal investigator in AT&T Bell Labs (currently Nokia Bell Labs), USA. He is currently a distinguished professor in China based Nanjing University, President & CEO of U.S. Based (Quantum-Computing & Blockchain) SIR Forum (Industrial 6.0 Forum), President of Jiangsu Probability & Statistical Society in China, Chairman of Jiangsu Big Data-Blockchain and Smart Information Special Committee in China. He received various academic awards and presented over 30 keynote/plenary speeches in IEEE and other international conferences. He has been serving as an editor-in-chief or an editorial board member for various international journals.

Manuscript Preparation: Your manuscript must be formatted with the template for IEEE conference proceedings. Authors are invited to submit full paper as PDF using the IEEE templates. Paper drafts must be prepared in English with a maximum of Eight (8) printed pages in IEEE format (10-point font, double-column and A4) including figures, tables and references.
Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit papers electronically to ICEECCOT 2019 through Easy Chair. For submission of paper, at least one of the Authors of the paper should be a registered user of Easy Chair.
Review process for this conference is TRIPPLE BLINDED, which means Authors and Reviewers are restricted from seeing each other 's identity. Therefore, the Authors are instructed not to mention the name & affiliation in the manuscript anywhere being submitted for review. Author's name & affiliation details may be included at the time of CAMERA READY Manuscript submission after paper acceptance.
All papers submitted to ICEECCOT-2019 will be checked for plagiarism according to IEEE guideline. If found free of plagiarism, it will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on NOVELTY, Presentation, Correctness and Relevance to the conference. In case of the minor plagiarism, the authors will be asked to rewrite the paper. In other cases, the paper will be immediately rejected.
The acceptance of papers along with referees’ comment will be communicated to authors by email. Authors are required to incorporate the comments received in the CAMERA-READY PAPER before final submission.
ICEECCOT-2019 is technically sponsored by IEEE Bangalore Section, IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference. Papers are reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted to any other conference at the same time (double submission). These matters are taken very seriously, and IEEE will act against any author who has engaged in either practice.
